About Me
Minor Planning & Design is a solo effort, but I cultivate and appreciate my relationships with colleagues. Every project allows for at least some level of collaboration and I am always excited to hear different ideas. I am proud to be able to launch a business allowing me to combine experience I've earned in the past thirty years. From a background and early practice in architecture to a decade as a city planner in Portland to my most recent 10 years as a "preservation planner," each career shift has built upon skills learned before. I care deeply about the built environment and will always be a passionate advocate for design excellence, for doing things a little differently, for respecting and taking inspiration from existing older architecture, and for helping owners make good ideas happen.
Please get in touch if I might be able to help you solve regulatory, historic, and/or design issues.
